The Danish Embassy marks the 1st Sunday of Advent at the Christmas Bazaar in Riga
The Embassy extends its thanks for a delightful 1st Sunday of Advent, spent at the annual Christmas bazaar organized by The International Women's Club of Riga. In keeping with tradition, the Christmas bazaar brought together several embassies and organizations in a community effort to raise funds for charitable purposes.
The Danish embassy actively participated with a booth filled with products sponsored by well-established Danish companies in Latvia, and the Danish products were a great success among the bazaar's visitors.
A big thank you to the companies: KH Select, Baltic Candles, Merrild Latvia, Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Story House Egmont, LEGO, MP Socks, and KVIST.
With the support of our generous sponsors, we are pleased to announce that the Danish embassy was among the largest contributors at the bazaar.
The proceeds generated from the sales will go directly to Latvian charitable organizations, and the surplus bazaar donations will bring joy to families in SOS Children's Villages.
